Tressa Linder

Tressa A. Linder, age 90, of Butternut, MI, passed away Monday, November 25, 2019, at The Laurels of Carson City, Carson City, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Crystal Congregational Church, 300 South Main Street, Crystal, MI 48818, on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 1:00 P.M., with Pastor Ried Martin officiating.  Burial will take place at Crystal Cemetery, Crystal, MI. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2019 from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at the church.

Tressa was born in Butternut, MI on October 15, 1929, the daughter of Thomas and Cecil (Arntz) Fishburn. She attended school in Carson City MI.  Tressa was a former cook at the Palladium and Lakeside in Crystal, MI.  She also cooked at the Turk Lake Bar and Lamplight Inn. Tressa loved to cook and bake for her family. Her grandchildren were very important to her. Her grandchildren called her Grama Hotty with love and affection, along with her son in law calling her the "Old Bag".

She is survived by 2 daughters: Cheryl and Tom Johns, of Crystal, MI; Judy and Randy Stearns, of Riverdale, MI; 5 grandchildren: Mike and Michelle Smalley, Korisia Stump, Traci and Jarad Stone, Amanda and Tim Stout, Randi Jo Stearns; 10 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, son Tommy, grandson-in-law Michael Stump and 2 sisters.
