Triston Robert Guy Yaklin

     Triston Robert Guy Yaklin, age 24, of Ithaca, MI, passed away Friday, December 16, 2022.

     Memorial Service will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes,  Ithaca, MI, at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 14, 2023, with Pastor Doug Strait officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 A.M.

     Triston was born in Saginaw, Michigan on April 12, 1998, the son of Duane Louis Yaklin and Tara Lynn (Wallschlager) Biggers. He graduated from Flippin High School with the class of 2016. He was a welder at Legends Manufacturing, Alma, MI.

     Triston was a hillbilly at heart. His truck was his baby and he loved to drive the backroads. He enjoyed fishing, and hunting. He liked to play video games with his brothers and friends. He was a hard worker and proud of his work. His smile was contagious. Most of all, he loved his family and was always kind and caring.

     He is survived by his mother Tara (Paul) Biggers of DeWitt, MI; father Duane Yaklin of Flippin, AR; siblings: Jack (Jessica) Yaklin of DeWitt, MI; Dylan Biggers of DeWitt, MI; and Isabelle Biggers of DeWitt, MI; and a niece Amelia Yaklin.  He is also survived by grandparents: Gary and Judy Wilson, and Maureen Keating; aunts and uncles: Tammy Goulding, Tracy Oszust, Troy (Jim) Yaklin, Theresa (Jeff) Zariske, Jason (Christen) Yaklin, and Stephanie (Darby) Yaklin; special cousin Jacob Oszust, and many other cousins.  He was preceded in death by his brother Austin Guy Yaklin, his grandfather Robert Wallschlager, his grandmother Jacquelyn Altman, his grandfather Grant "Guy" Yaklin, two uncles: Thomas Wallschlager, and Timothy Wallschlager.
