Urban Weber

Urban L. Weber, age 84, of Fowler, MI died Tuesday November 10, 2009. Born March 2, 1925 to Peter and Anna (George) Weber, Mr. Weber was a life-long resident of Fowler. He was a member of the Knight’s of Columbus and Farm Bureau. Mr. Weber was a devoted farmer and loved to play cards. He married Marie Thelen in Fowler on March 18, 1945. They celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary this year.

Surviving are his wife, Marie Weber; daughters, Carol (Thomas) Huhn, Elaine Weber, and Janet McKeown; sons, Luke (Mary Jo) Weber, Gary Weber, Ken Weber, Stan (Julie) Weber, Keith (Gail) Weber; 24 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; sister, Leona Bauer; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Angela Thelen; and brothers, Norman Weber, Harold Weber, Raymond Weber, and Melvin Weber.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM Saturday, November 14, 2009 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fowler. The Rev. Fr. Dennis Howard will act as Celebrant. The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM Thursday, and 2-4 and 7-9 PM Friday at the Goerge Chapel of the Osgood Funeral Homes in Fowler. A Rosary Service will be held at 8 PM on Thursday and 3 PM and 8 PM on Friday.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church Trust Fund or the Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church Parish.
