      Valecia Beth Wetzel, age 65, of Alma, MI, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2025, with her family by her side.
       Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Ithaca, MI, at 12:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, with Pastor Tom Ewer officiating. Burial will take place at Pritchard Cemetery, Elwell, MI. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
      Valecia was born in Shepherd, Michigan on January 17, 1960, the daughter of John and Georgia (Shattuck) Klumpp. She was a graduate of Shepherd High School. On October 10, 2020, she married Larry Wetzel at the Sumner Nazarene Church in Sumner, MI.
      Valecia was very crafty and loved finding new things to create. She had a love of collecting miniature figurines. She also had a love of music and singing at church, and she enjoyed traveling. Spending time with her family and grandchildren was her greatest joy. Valecia enjoyed spending the summers at the lake. Valecia owned Wiggles and Giggles Day Care for many years. She will be fondly remembered for her giving and helping heart. She was a member of The Straight Gate Church, St. Louis, MI.
      She is survived by her husband Larry Wetzel of Alma, MI; daughter Melissa and Chris Black of Alma, MI; son Mike Bryner of Alma, MI; son Adam Bryner of Lansing, MI; daughter Christina Watson of Alma, MI; son Darwin Anderson of Alma, MI; step-children: Kassie Lopez of Lansing, MI, Jessica Wetzel of Lansing, MI, and Kristin Wetzel of Lansing, MI; grandchildren: Hunter, Alexis, Cora, Anakin, Skylar, Tori, Payton, Mia, Chase (Kemmie), Domanique, Olyviah, and Ella; great-grandchildren: Easton and Hayes; step-grandchildren: Diego, Zaidan, Isac, Adrian, Alex, Jorelys, Nayeli, and Natalie; brothers: Harley Klumpp of Indiana; Basil and Karen Klumpp of Shepherd, MI; Lindy and Bev Klumpp of Shepherd, MI; sisters: Belva Lowry of Indiana; Gladys and Ross Jerome of Alma, MI; Sharon and Lee Jerome of Alma, MI; Rose and Gordy Johnson of Vestaburg, MI; Linnette Klumpp of Alma, MI; Wahneita, and Ed Shirley of Alma, MI; sisters-in-law Carol Klumpp of Shepherd, MI; and Sharon Klumpp of Shepherd, MI; many nieces and nephews. Valecia was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers: Clate (Gloria) Klumpp, Leonard Klumpp, Lonnie Klumpp, and David (Laura) Klumpp.
