Valeria Montoy

M. Montoy, age 80 of Corunna, Michigan passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2003 at McLaren Regional Medical Center in Flint, Michigan. She was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting, baking, and making various crafts.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 27, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel. Rev. Fr. Russell Merrill will officiate with burial at Pine Tree Cemetery, Corunna, Michigan. Visitation will be Friday from 2-8 P.M. with the family present from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M.
Valeria was born on August 9, 1923 in Corunna, Michigan, the daughter of John and Zorista (Mehia) Florinki. She attended Corunna area schools. She resided most of her life in Corunna, Michigan.
She is survived by a 1 daughter, Yvonne (Harry) Ade of Corunna, MI, and 1 son, Herman (Mary) Montoy of Alma, MI, 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, 3 sisters, Sadie Blankenship, Emiley Kelley, and Mary Bazzey, and 2 brothers, John & Cornell Florinki.
Memorials may be made to SMI Classroom of the RESD. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel.
