Valeria "Val" A. Wells, age 64, of Corunna, Michigan passed away Monday, July 25, 2011 in Corunna, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Elsie Chapel Elsie, MI on Sunday, July 31, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2011 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Valeria was born in Owosso, Michigan on April 8, 1947, the daughter of Harold A. and Shirley C. (Koan) Sunde. Val married Daniel Wells on November 22, 1989 in Corunna, MI. Val resided most of her life in Shiawassee County. Val retired from Electro Wire Manufacturing of Owosso. Val loved her dogs, Fawn and Keena. She enjoyed gardening, especially flower gardening. Val will be remembered for her loving and giving heart.

She is survived by her husband Daniel Wells of Oakley, MI, son Donald and Jennifer Rosser of Flint, MI, daughter Carmen and Tracy Haubenstricker of Corunna, MI, daughter Connie Jo and John Winn of Royal Oak, MI, son John and Christine Mattimore of Buchanon, MI, son Daniel Mattimore of Perry, MI, son Dennis and Traci Wells of Athens, MI, son Cody and Jammie Wells of Battle Creek, MI, 18 grandchildren, sister Sandy Rosser of Durand, MI, brother Steven Sunde of Flint, MI, brother Jerry Sunde of Owosso, MI, and sister Sherry and Rick Witt of Corunna, MI. Val was preceded in death by her parents, in-laws; Daniel Wells & Verna Potter and her aunt, Norma McDonald.
