Vernetta Price

Vernetta E. Price, died August 11, 2010, at the age of 91. She was born in Essex Twp., on May 14, 1919, the daughter of William and Helen (Freeman) Mueller. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Altar Society and resided most of her life in Clinton County. Vernetta is survived by her husband Kenneth Price whom she married in St. Johns on April 10, 1940; they recently celebrated 70 years of marriage together.

Also surviving are their children, William (Chris) Price, Kenneth (Sandra) Price, Richard Price, James Price, Linda (Gene) Gruzed, Susan (Jerry) Brown and Barbara Watson and friend, Greg, 15 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and sister, Beatrice Bozung. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Helen Ann Price, brother, Joseph Mueller, and sisters, Marguerite Mueller and Odella Field.

Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 16, 2010, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Eoin Murphy officiating, burial at Mt. Rest Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Osgood Funeral Home, 104 E. Cass, Sunday evening 6-8 p.m., with a Vigil/Rosary prayed at 7 p.m. Contributions may be made in memory of Vernetta to St. Joseph Catholic Church or Hazel I. Findlay Country Manor.
