Victoria C. Seeley, age 95, of Jerome, Idaho passed away Saturday, June 4, 2011 at the Laurels of Carson City, Carson City, MI.
Victoria was born in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho on October 4, 1915, the daughter of William W. and Helen H. (Reid) Scott. Victoria, a graduate of the University of Idaho, resided most of her married life in Jerome, Idaho. Upon Richard's retirement they lived in Sun City West, Arizona and Boise, Idaho.
Victoria married Richard H. Seeley on May 25, 1940 in Nampa, Idaho. He passed away on March 10, 2007.
Victoria was a member of P.E.O. Sisterhood, holding every office. She enjoyed singing, reading, and playing bridge. Victoria was the president of the Women's Golf Club and an avid golfer. She was the first woman to hit a hole in one at the Jerome Country Club where her late husband was a founding member. Victoria was a devout Presbyterian and a member of the Jerome Presbyterian Church. She and her husband enjoyed traveling and visited every state except Alaska.
She is survived by her 2 daughters; Vickie (Ron Jacobs) Barlow of Perrinton, MI and Peggy Montgomery of Perrinton, MI, 2 sons; Jim (Rae) Seeley of Lincolnshire, IL and Don (Terri) Seeley of Perrinton, MI, 4 grandchildren; Jeff Barlow, Anna (Brian) Wildish, Megan (Bret) Levins & Sara Montgomery, and 2 great-grandchildren; Jacob Barlow & Jackson Wildish. Victoria was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson Jason Barlow, 2 brothers & 2 sisters.
