Vina Fisk

Vina May Fisk, age 91, of Ashley, Michigan died Wednesday, March 28th, 2012 at her sons home in Panama City, Florida.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Johns Chapel on Thursday, April 5th at 11:00 A.M., Rev. William F. Dye will officiate. Burial will take place in Mt. Rest Cemetery, St. Johns, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Wednesday 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes St. Johns Chapel, St. Johns, Michigan.

Vina was born in Gratiot County, Michigan on November 15, 1920, the daughter of Archibald and Mary (Robbennolt) Shepard. She graduated from Ashley High School with the class of 1937.

On November 6, 1937 Vina married Harley D. "Jim" Fisk in Bath, Michigan. Jim predeceased her on January 19, 2000. Vina was a homemaker and worked for the Ashley Hardware for many years, her and her husband Jim also managed Zeebs Fertilizer in Ashley.

She is survived by 2 sons, Jerry and Helen Fisk and Lee Fisk of Panama City, FL; daughter-in-law, Dorothy Fisk of Panama City, FL; daughter-in-law Barb Fisk of Comstock Park Michigan. 15
grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren

She was predeceased by her parents, husband, son, Gary and brother Gerald.

Memorial may be made to Ashley United Methodist Church or Emerald Coast Hospice, 2925 Martin Luther King Blvd., Panama City FL 32405.
