Violet Reeb

Violet Pauline Reeb age 74 of St. Louis, Michigan died Saturday, November 1, 2003 at the Schnepp Health Care Center, St. Louis, Michigan. She was a homemaker who enjoyed working Puzzle books; she collected humming bird figurines and was a member of Alma VFW Auxiliary Post 1454.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, November 4, 2003 at 2:00 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis, Michigan. Pastor Edward Kreh will officiate with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery in St. Louis, Michigan. Visitation will be Sunday from 6-8 P.M. and Monday from 2-8 P.M. with the family present 2-4 & 6-8 P.M.
Violet was born on April 22, 1929 in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan the daughter of Homer & Velma (Hankins) Decess. She graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School with the class of 1949. On April 2, 1949 she married Glen Reeb in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan.
Survivors include her husband; Glen Reeb of St. Louis, Michigan, four daughters; Diane & Keith Lott of Wheeler, Michigan, Carol Welch of Elwell, Michigan, Connie Grassel of St. Louis, Michigan, Janet & Rob Shea of Newaygo, Michigan and one son; Glen Reeb Jr. of Grand Rapids, Michigan, 11 grandchildren & 3 great-grandchildren, one sister; Barb & Carl Phillips of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, six brothers; Larry & Terry Decess of Waterford, Michigan, Kenneth & Marie Decess of Tennessee, Don & Bev Decess of Sunfield, Michigan, Shirley & Liz Decess of Lansing, Michigan, Paul & Mary Decess of Clarkston, Michigan, Edgar & Norma Decess of Garden City, Michigan.
She was predeceased by her parents, one son Duane, one sister, Lucille, three brothers, Herb, Ross & Richard.
Memorials may be made to the Pardee Cancer Fund.
