Virgil "Jake" Wesley Flagg, age 88, of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan formerly of Owosso, passed away Sunday, April 25, 2010 at Laurels of Mt. Pleasant, MI.
Virgil was born in Flint, Michigan on June 12, 1921, the son of Charles and Anne Flagg.
Jake served his country in the U.S. Navy during WW II. He was a member of the Corunna VFW Post 4005 and the Teamsters. Jake resided most of his life in Owosso, living also in Farwell.
He is survived by his daughter Sandra and John Kirk of Houghton Lake, MI. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren; Robin Tillitson, Lonnie and Troy Kirk, 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Charles, granddaughter Kelly, sister Eleanor Crisp and brother Merriel.
