Virginia Lois Hubbard, age 87, of Alma, MI passed away Saturday, July 5th, 2014 at her home.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will take place at Richland Township Cemetery in Vestaburg, MI.
Virginia was born in Clark, South Dakota on February 17, 1927, the daughter of Paul W. and Elizabeth Carolina (Krogman) Morey. She graduated from Alma High School with the class of 1945. Virginia was married to Andy Hubbard, and he preceded her in death.
She is survived by her son James Fairchild of Lansing, MI; daughter Jan Johnson of Cookeville, TN; daughter Kimberly Peterson of Alma, MI; son Jody Fairchild of Tokyo, Japan; 2 grandchildren Nicholas Plunkett and Jossalyn Plunkett; 2 sisters Shirley Hitchcock of Florida, and Wilda Sammons of Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Andy, a granddaughter Joell Peterson, and 7 brothers and sisters.
