Virginia Kent

Virginia P. Kent age 82 of Ashley, Michigan died Monday May 10, 2004 at Hospice House of Mid-Michigan, St. Lawrence Campus, Lansing, Michigan.
Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Ithaca Chapel, Ithaca, Michigan. Rev. Jana Jirak will officiate with burial at North Star Cemetery in North Star, Michigan. Visitation will be Wednesday May 12, 2004 from 2-4 & 6-8 at the Funeral Home.
Virginia was born in Winn, Michigan on April 1, 1922 the daughter of Ota & Trudy Robinson. She married Robert C. Kent on March 18, 1939 in Angola, Indiana. Robert passed away January 3, 2003. They made their home in Ashley for 65 years where the family owned and operated The Kent Implement Store.
She is survived by one daughter, Sally Jean Kent of Taos, New Mexico. She is predeceased by her parents, her husband, daughter Jane Ann, 4 brothers Donald, Vernon, Wayne, & Kenneth, & 2 sisters, Madelyn & Carol.
Memorials may be made to Hospice House of Mid-Michigan, St. Lawrence Campus. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes.
