Wanda LaRue

Wanda E. LaRue age 95 of Elsie died Friday evening at the Welcome Home Assisted Living in Elsie, Michigan.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at 11:00 am at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service. Pastor Mona Kindle will officiate and burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Elsie MI.

Wanda was born in Flint, Michigan on May 22, 1917, the daughter of Frank and Augusta (Moore) Oberlin. She was a homemaker and resided in the Elsie and Bannister area all of her life.

She is survived by her 2 sons; Keith and Dottie LaRue of Paonia, CO, Mark and Bonnie LaRue of Elsie, MI, step children; Duane and Carol LaRue of Houghton Lake, MI, Sandra and Larry Madar of St. Johns, MI, 2 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 13 step great grandchildren, 1 step great great grandchild, 1 sister Dorine Kridner, and 2 brothers; Robert & Jack Oberlin. Wanda was predeceased by her parents, husband Victor, daughter Marilyn, a step great great grandchild, and a sister Doris Moore.
