Wanda Snyder

Wanda Mae Snyder age 78 of Ovid, Michigan formerly of Corunna, Michigan died Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at Ingham Regional Medical Center, Lansing, Michigan.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel Corunna, MI on Monday, November 26, 2007 at 11:00 AM. Pastor Larry Smith will officiate with burial at Wilkinson Cemetery Venice Township, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2007 from 6-8 P.M. and Sunday, November 25, 2007 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M.

Wanda was born in Midland County, Michigan on May 28, 1929 the daughter of Willis and Eunice ( Allen ) Lee. She resided most of her life in the Shiawassee County Area with the last 43 years in Ovid, MI and graduated from Durand High School with the class of 1947. Wanda married Charles W. Snyder on September 10, 1948 in Corunna, Michigan. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed watching and feeding the birds, and attending to her flowers. Wanda also enjoyed crocheting, and giving what she made to people. She loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by husband Charles Snyder of Ovid, MI, son Wayne Snyder of Owosso, MI, daughter Wendy & James Gottschalk of Imlay City, MI, grandchildren; Jennifer Brisbois, Jessica Gottschalk, Nichole Gottschalk, great grandchildren; Haley Gottschalk, Kurtis Brisbois, Mark & Celina Brisbois, 1 sister Patsy & Robert Spring, several nieces & nephews, and 1 aunt Vera Allen. She is predeceased by her parents, and 1 sister Eva Montrey.

Memorials may be made to Salvation Army. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel.
