Wanda Loraine Thompson age 86 of Vestaburg, Michigan died August 8, 2008 at at home.
Funeral Services will be held at M-46 Tabernacle Church, on Monday, August 11, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. Rev. Jack Skirvin Rev. Dan Skirvin will officiate with burial at Salem Township Cemetery Morrow, Ohio on Wednesday, August 13, 2008, at 11:00 A.M.. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10, 2008, from 3-6 p.m. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel.
Wanda was born in Morrow, Ohio on September 27, 1921 the daughter of Harley and Reba (Fraukenecht) Winfield. She resided most of her life in Ohio until moving to Vestaburg in 1960, and graduated from Morrow High School in Morrow, Ohio. Wanda married Robert Thompson in Morrow, Ohio, on June 26, 1948. Wanda was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and entertaining. She was also active in her community. Wanda attended M-46 Tabernacle Church and was a member of Heritage Presbyterian Church in Mason, Ohio. She was a member of the USO; Vestaburg Women's Club; past president of American Legion Auxiliary in Mason, Ohio and also past present of Vestaburg PTA.
She is survived by Daughter: Judith Loraine & Charles C. Hudecz of Vestaburg, MI, Son: Douglas Winfield Thompson of Ohio,
She is predeceased by parents and husband.
Memorials may be made to M-46 Tabernacle Church or Heartland Hospice-Fremont Office. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel
