Warren Davis Sr.

Warren Ned Davis Sr., age 78, of St. Louis, MI, passed away Friday, March 9, 2018 at Schnepp Health Care Center, St. Louis, MI.

Memorial Service will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Ithaca, MI, on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 4:00 P.M., with Pastor Doug Strait officiating.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2:00 P.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will take place at a later date at Greenwood Cemetery, Vernon, MI.

Warren was born in Prestonsburg, KY on July 14, 1939 the son of Ned and Trudy (Patrick) Davis.  He attended schools in Homer, MI. He married Sharon Linam on December 16, 1995 at Curwood Castle in Owosso, MI.

Warren retired from General Motors in 1999. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching sports.  He spent many years coaching his sons' football teams. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy.

He is survived by his wife Sharon Davis, children: Warren Jr. and Dawn Davis, Tim and Julie Davis, Darwin and Dawn Davis, Kim and Kerry Clack, step son Mark and Carol Houlden, step daughter Melanie and Dave Bastian, 15 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 2 brothers: Phillip “Mac” and Marilyn Davis, and Bruce and Gale Hackworth.  Warren was preceded in death by his parents.
