Wava Anderson

Wava G. Anderson age 86 of Alma, Michigan died on Saturday, March 17, 2007 at Gratiot Medical Center in Alma, Michigan. Funeral services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel on Thursday, March 22, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. and burial will take place at Chapel Gardens Cemetery, Elwell, Michigan. Pastor Richard McLane will officiate.
Wava was born on May 2, 1920 in St. Louis, Michigan the daughter of Otis and Elsie (Markham) Andrews. She married Ward G. Anderson on July 28, 1937, Ward died on June 22, 2002. She had resided all of her life in Gratiot County, Michigan and owned and operated "Mom and Dads Place" Adult Foster Care in Elwell for 20 years. Wava was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved to spend time with her family.
Survivors include her, daughter, Darlene & Harvey Hansen of Alma, Michigan, 2 sons, Kenneth & Dixie Anderson of El Mirage, Arizona, Ricky Anderson of Alma, Michigan, 14 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren, 3 sisters, Frieda, Doris, and Janice. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, a son Walter G. Anderson, 1 sister Patricia Morford, and 3 Brothers Tim, Mike, and Otis Andrews.
