Wava Lou Duton, age 80, of Owosso, MI passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at Shiawassee County Medical Care Facility Corunna, MI.
Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Jennings-Lyons Chapel Owosso, MI on Friday, January 30, 2009 at 1:00 P.M., Chaplain Beverly Adcock will officiate. Burial will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery Owosso, MI. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2009 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Jennings-Lyons Chapel.
Wava was born in Flint, Michigan on January 10, 1929, the daughter of Malcolm and Mary (Rogers) Barrow. She resided most of her life in Grand Blanc, Millington & Owosso and attended the Michigan School for the Deaf in Flint. Wava and Ed Duton were married for 30 years. She was also married to Robert Morgan & Nathan Williams. Wava has worked for McLaren Hospital, Dorr Printing and the Sheraton Motor Inn in Flint. Wava loved to sew, dance and cook, and she enjoyed rummage sales and looking for special treasures.
She is survived by 2 sons; Mark and Susan Williams of Flint, MI & Allan and Janet Williams of Owosso, MI, 8 grandchildren; Scott, Brian and Megan Morgan, David Funch, Jacquilynne Williams, Jason Andres, Robert Daniels and Matt Adler, 4 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters; Susan Harris of Millington, MI & Jean Richardson of Florida and brother Norman and Gloria Barrow of Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 husbands; Ed & Robert, and 2 sons, Mike Morgan & Rick Williams.
