William Higgins

William L. Higgins, died May 1, 2014 at the age of 88. He was born on October 6, 1925 in Laingsburg, the son of George and Louie (Bush) Higgins. Bill worked as a heavy equipment operator for Searles Const. for many years.

He is survived by his sister, Virginia Blackmer and brother, Eugene (Rusty) Higgins all of St. Johns and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father, Thomas Bosquette and brother, George (Margaret) Higgins.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 4, 2014 at Osgood Funeral Home, 104 E. Cass St., St. Johns, MI, with Pastor Bob Prange officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Advantage or Hazel I. Findlay Country Manor in memory of Bill.
