William Hopkinson

William "Bill" G. Hopkinson age 78 of St. Louis, Michigan died Wednesday, May 18, 2005 at his home.
Military Graveside Services will be held at Pritchard Cemetery Elwell, MI on Monday, May 23, 2005 at 11:00 AM.
Bill was born in Ithaca, Michigan on January 6, 1927 the son of Lynn Page and Beulah May ( Street ) Hopkinson. He graduated from Ithaca High School with the class of 1947, and resided most of his life in Ithaca & St. Louis. Bill married Marian Mizer on July 3, 1971 in Ithaca, MI. He served in the U.S. Navy. Bill retired from the City of Ithaca after several years of service. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the FAM #123 in Ithaca for 50 years. In the past he was an Eagle Boy Scout Leader.
He is survived by his wife Marian Hopkinson of St. Louis, MI, 1 sister Joan Cook of Ithaca, MI, and 2 nephews; Robert Cook of Oklahoma City, OK, and Roger & Kristi Cook of Ithaca, MI. He was predeceased by his parents, & 2 sisters Marjorie Francetic & Mary Hafner.
Memorials may be made to Gratiot County All Wars Memorial or to The Boy Scouts of America. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel, 117 North East Street, St. Louis, MI 48880.
