William Schmid

William Lee “Bill” Schmid age 57 of Perrinton, MI, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2018 at his home.

A Time of Sharing will be held at the Perrinton Community Center, Perrinton, MI on Saturday, April 7, 2018 from 1-4 pm.  Please bring a dish to pass.  Cremation has taken place and burial will be at Union Home Cemetery.

William was born in Carson City, MI on September 11, 1960 the son of Roland Lee and Fern Irene (Mills) Schmid. He graduated from St. Johns High School

Bill enjoyed NASCAR, hunting, fishing, and camping. He loved the time he spent with family, friends and his dog Penny. Bill had previously been employed at Lear Corporation in Elsie, MI.

He is survived by his sister Belinda and Jay Southwell of Laingsburg, MI; brother in law Mike Hulsey of Jasper, AL; aunt Dorthann and Kenny Teed of Pompeii, MI; uncle Dewayne and Lorraine Mills of Ithaca, MI; uncle Glen and Marilee Mills of Middleton, MI; aunt Linda and Roger Summey of Blanchard, MI; nieces and nephews: Melinda and Herbert, Jay Jr. and Tammy, Heather and Jay, Scott and Raydena, Dayton, Nicki, and Crate; step brothers and sister: Rob Burns, Ken Burns, Tim Burns, Kelly and Tom Cooks, half brothers and sister: Debbie Schmid, Dean Schmid, Mike Schmid, and step mother Carleen Schmid. He is also survived by great nieces and nephews: Lisa, Jay III, Hope, and Garrett.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, brother Scott and Jayne Schmid, and sister Janet Hulsey.
