William Sexton

William Robert Sexton, age 82, of St. Louis, MI died Saturday, January 3, 2009 at St. Mary's Hospital in Saginaw, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Ithaca Chapel on Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be held prior to the service on Tuesday from 12-2 PM. at the funeral home.

William was born in Northland, Michigan on August 12, 1926, the son George and Suzanne (Gillespie) Sexton. He was a WWII Army veteran. William married Clara (Bartlett) Sexton on April 22, 1944. She passed away March 7, 1997. He resided in Michigan and Arizona. He loved to fish and hunt, and enjoyed working for his family in the pizza business.

He is survived by son William Robert Sexton Jr. of Harrison, MI, daughter Ruth A. and Donald Forkner of Martinsville, IN, son Gary R. and Dana Sexton of Kingman, AZ, son Daniel Lee and Nancy Sexton of Bullhead City, AZ, daughter Rosemary and Tim Hinchey of Ithaca, MI, son Rick A. and Vicki Sexton of St. Louis, MI, daughter Deborah Lynn Sexton of Prescott Valley, AZ, daughter Nancy Buccilli of Ithaca, MI; 25 grandchildren, and 40 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Clara, 6 brothers and 2 sisters.
