William C. Smith, Jr., age 47, of Alma, MI passed away Saturday, January 31st, 2009 at his residence.
Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes St. Louis Chapel. on Wednesday, February 4th at 11:00 A.M. Visitation will be held on Tuesday February 3rd from 2-8 PM with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
William was born in Saginaw, Michigan on July 5, 1961, the son of William C. and Catherine (Waugh) Smith.
Bill and Rosa (Rose) were married on August 6, 1982 in Findlay, OH and he resided most of his life in Alma. Bill enjoyed woodworking, metal sculpting, playing pool, listening to music and loved the outdoors. His family was a very important part of his life.
He is survived by his wife Rose Smith of Alma, MI; children Hollie Smith & Don Lance of St. Louis, MI, Erika Smith & William Butcher of Alma, MI and William Smith, III & Ravyn Golliver of Alma, MI; 2 grandchildren Norman Javen Davis & Kaiden Skyler Lance. 3 sisters Patricia and Thomas Biller of Van Buren, OH, Catherine and John Routt of Kenton, OH, Terri and Michael Cleland of Findlay, OH; 3 brothers Brian Smith of Findlay, OH, Kurt Lovett of Carrollton, MI, Christopher Smith of Nevada also survived by step-father Jerry Walters of Findlay, OH, step-mother Terry Smith of Shields, MI and mother-in-law Ruby Eastman of St. Louis, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law Hugh Eastman.
