Wilma E. Loynes age 92 of Chapin, Michigan died Sunday, August 22, 2004 at Ovid Healthcare Center, Ovid, Michigan.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 26, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie Chapel. Pastor Billie Lou Gillespie-Brown will officiate with burial at Fairfield Township Cemetery, Fairfield Township, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 24, 2004 6-8 P.M. & Wednesday, August 25, 2004 2-8 P.M. with the family present 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie Chapel
Wilma was born on February 15, 1912 in Fairfield Township, Michigan, the daughter of Earl & Nelah ( Luynes ) Albaugh. She graduated from Elsie High School with the class of 1930. Wilma married Max L. Loynes on April 14, 1944 in Shiawassee County, Michigan. Max died March 21, 2004. She owned and operated Wilmaa�(TM)s Beauty Shop for 30 years. She attended Chapin United Methodist Church and resided most of life Chapin, Michigan.
She is survivied by 2 daughters Gwen & Ken Fisher of Chapin, MI, Ellen & John Sternaman of Owosso, MI, 1 son Les & Carol Loynes of Fremont, MI, 10 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren, 6 Great Great Grandchildren, brother, Max & Ruby Albaugh of Hot Springs, AR, and many nieces & nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, husband, 1 great granddaughter, and 1 sister.
Memorials may be made to Chapin United Methodist Church or Ovid Healthcare Center. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie Chapel.
