Wilma Viola Pasco age 92 of Rose Bush, Michigan formerly of Owosso, Michigan died August 8, 2007 at Central Michigan Community Hospital, Mt. Pleasant, MI.
Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes- Jennings-Lyons Chapel Owosso, MI on Saturday, August 11, 2007 at 1:00 PM. Pastor John Miller will officiate with burial at Alton Cemetery Bennington Township, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 10, 2007 from 2-8 P.M. and Saturday, August 11, 2007 from 11-1 P.M.
Wilma was born in Clare, Michigan on February 7, 1915 the daughter of Harry Lansing and Adeline ( Spicer ) Cleveland. She resided most of her life in Clare, Owosso, and Mt. Pleasant areas and graduated from Clare Public Schools with the class of 1934. Wilma married Clare Lester Pasco on October 25, 1942 in Clare, Michigan. She was a homemaker. She made quilts and was part of a family tradition in making quilts. She was a good seamstress. She and her sisters sang together for funerals and other events. Wilma was a member of First Church of God, Owosso, MI.
She is survived by her daughter Josephine & Max Melnek of Farwell, MI, 3 grandchildren; Joshua Melnek and fiance Chary Florian of Lake Station, MI, Dawn & Larry Bailiff of Longwood, FL, Daniel Miller of North Carolina, brothers and sisters; Archie Cleveland of Mt. Pleasant, MI, Mildred Hanes of Charlotte, MI, June Mersman of Nevada, IA, Ella & Donald Goodbread of Seeley Lake, MT, Ardeth Helbling of Newberg, OR, and Ruth & Ray Owens of Clare, MI. She is predeceased by her parents, husband, 2 brothers Bernie and Ernie Cleveland and 1 brother in childhood.
Memorials may be made to First Church of God, Owosso, Michigan or the Pittsburg Methodist Church, Bennington Township, MI. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes a�" Jennings-Lyons Chapel, Owosso, MI.
