Winifred Ann "Winnie" Wallace

   Winifred Ann Wallace, age 87, of Pensacola, FL, formerly of Maple Rapids, MI passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at her home.

   Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes - Osgood Chapel, St. Johns, MI, on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at 2:00 P.M.  Burial will take place at Sowle Cemetery, Essex Twp, MI.  Visitation will be held on Monday, May 9, 2022 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes - Osgood Chapel, St. Johns, MI.

   Winifred was born in Lansing, Michigan on December 23, 1934, the daughter of Leland and Mariam (Ware) Crum.  Winnie married William H. Wallace on December 30, 1951 in Maple Rapids, MI.  William passed away on April 7, 2001.

    Winnie worked for the State of Michigan in the Treasury Department for 10 years.  She then went on to work at Goco Inc. for 20 years as a cashier. Winnie loved plants and gardening.  She enjoyed playing euchre with friends and family and she participated in many tournaments. She was a member of the Ostomy Support Group in Pensacola, FL. 

    She is survived by her children: Linda Potter, Jean and Terry Sillman, Lorie and Alvin Harrison, and Janean Reid.  She is also survived by ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband William, sons-in-law: Tom Reid and Bill Tyler and great-grandchildren Ruby and Jack Reid.
