Yvonne Evey

Yvonne Leone Evey, age 86, of Sumner, Michigan died Monday, March 23, 2015 at her home.

A Memorial Service will be held at Seville Community Church of God, on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. Pastor George Showers will officiate.

Yvonne was born in Anaheim, California on November 22, 1928, the daughter of Oman S. and Martha (Gillis) Taylor. She graduated from St. Johns High School, St. Johns, Michigan. On October 27, 1946 she married Dale LeRoy Evey in St. Johns, Michigan.

She resided most of her life in the Sumner, Michigan area. Yvonne enjoyed bowling and playing golf, she also collected porcelain dolls and she has a large doll collection. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors Group and was a former member of the Eastern Stars.

She is survived by her husband, Dale, 3 daughters, Patricia Smith, Jeanice and Marvin Pyle, Karen and Gary Willis, 2 sons, Daniel and Jacquelin Evey, Joseph Evey, 8 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, sister, Laura Dean Ernst, brother Floyd S. Taylor, and son in law, James Smith.

Memorials may be made to the American Kidney Foundation.
